OK, it’s not as radical as all that: I’ve decided to list Mortal Ghost at the Amazon Kindle marketplace. Lest you think I’m backpedalling from my free e-format stance, I promise that you can still read it online, download it as much as you like, and listen to the podcasts till you’ve got the damned thing off by heart – all at no charge. And so it will be with Corvus. I simply wanted to enable easy wireless delivery for Kindle users in the USA, but Amazon won’t let you do it for free. The minimum price is $0.99, a third of which will be royalty. Unless I’m very much mistaken, this will amount to small change which I’ll donate to an AIDS or literacy project in Africa, or something similar.
